Superheroes – The Story

M-Net Movies was recently moved by the stories of many courageous children fighting life-threatening illnesses, and was inspired to give back. Working alongside the Reach for a Dream Foundation, M-Net Movies has made the dreams of a handful of these children a reality and helped tell the stories of these incredible, young superheroes.

M-Net Movies partnered with Reach For A Dream Foundation and approached the families of three amazing young superheroes with the hope of making dreams come true. Each week a different child’s story will be told on mnet.tv/superheroes.

Caleb’s Dolphin Dream

Caleb is a four-year-old boy who suffers from neuroblastoma. Being a little boy Caleb has always wanted a PSP. But Caleb’s big dream has always been to see dolphins in real life. Thanks to family, friends and uShaka Marine World in Durban, Caleb got to live it.

Malibongwe’s Kaizer Chiefs’ Dream

Malibongwe is a four-year-old boy who is fighting Burkitt’s lymphoma. As a football-obsessed fan, his dream was to meet his heroes, Kaizer Chiefs.Thanks to the effort of Amakhosi, Malibongwe was able be one of these titans of football.

Yagy’s Princess Dream

Yagy is a four-year-old girl who suffers from Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Yagy loves dressing up and dreams of being a princess. Thanks to M-Net Movies along with The Reach For A Dream Foundation, Yagy’s became a princess for a day with her very own castle.
